Call us with your name and date of birth and we will verify that the warrant is active and determine if an amount of required bail has been set by the judge. We can make arrangements for you to surrender yourself and immediately thereafter submit a bail bond for your release (called a walk-through). Surrendering is much better than taking a chance of being arrested at home, or at your job, which will require a much longer period of time to get you out of jail than surrendering.

The paperwork we require takes approximately 10 minutes. Usually it takes anywhere from minutes to a couple of hours to get out of jail; however, if the holding facility is particularly “busy”, the hold time can be considerably longer. We will work as fast as possible on your bail bond.

Bail is some form of property deposited or pledged to a court in order to persuade the court to release a suspect from jail, with the understanding that the suspect will return for any and all court appearances or forfeit the bail, which is illegal. Some common names for missing court appearances is bond forfeiture, skipping bail, jumping bail, and bond jumping.

A bail bondsman is any person or company that will act as a surety and pledge money or property as bail and take responsibility for the court appearances of the persons to whom such bails are issued.

An Indemnitor or Cosigner is a person who agrees to be financially responsible for the full amount of the bail bond in the event the defendant fails to make a court appearance and cannot be returned to court. An Indemnitor is responsible for paying any bail bond costs incurred as a result of the defendant missing a court date. If there is more than one Indemnitor on a bail bond, they are jointly and severally liable. This means the money could be collected from one or both of them. As Indemnitor, you are financially responsible for the bail bond. As long as the person you bail out makes all of their court appearances, you will not have to pay any money in addition to the initial payment made to the bonding company.
